[Action: Locked to Fayt Leingod and (maybe) Albel Nox]

[It was cold.

Cliff shifted under the blankets and stretched his legs, not caring about anything but the familiar knitted sheets that touched his bare skin and the familiar scent of what he knew was his apartment in town. It was simple. It was a taste of the freedom he would grab once he slept off his aching muscles and refreshed his weary mind.

For the moment he just wanted to appreciate the warmth. He didn't remember the beds being this comfortable...]

[People in town might notice an unfamiliar young woman wandering about the shops that afternoon in search of something that fitted better than the oversized leather bomber jacket and heavy boots that covered her thin white dress. Her striking blue hair and green eyes bore a startling resemblence to another young man, Fayt Leingod-- but, that had to be coincidence.

Passers by might even find her asking them a simple question in a tone that hinted at her contained frustration:]

Hey. Could ya gimme a hand for a minute?

[Clearly, she wasn't used to asking for this sort of help.

Later on, a quick message in a familiar hand is scrawled out in the journals for everyone to read:]

I'm back. Anyone miss me?

[That's a new one. But he slowly takes the hand and shakes it, awkwardly.]

You're a guy normally? I'm Kanji Tatsumi.

Can't you figure out pants for yourself? [Vegeta isn't Bulla, he can't eye it.] Why don't you just wear whatever you feel like? If it's hideous, I'm sure we'll all let you know. [By making fun, of course.] Unless Klausian females don't care much for fashion. All the better, I'd say.

[Vegeta. What?

Cliff stared at him with that old look of cocky disdain-- unfortunately, it didn't have nearly the same effect as it would have normally.]

Be glad that I only look like Maria right now-- she and Mirage'd have a few things to say right about now.

[Although, in truth, odds were that the two women would likely join in on teasing Cliff.]

[Cliff just grins, amused by the dumbfounded look on the young man's face.]

Just relax! It's not the weirdest thing that's happened here.

So you're saying that you'll help me with this?

Well you're going to need some help. I shudder to think of you trying to figure out how to dress yourself in girl's clothes.

[Do you see this innocent expression? This totally says he's completely innocent. Totally.]

[Fayt rolls his eyes at Albel's usual antics, moving away from the wall to head into his room.] Give me a chance to change too, then we'll go.

[Since... uh. he's only in a pair of pants right now.]

Hey, I know a few things. I'm not that hopeless!

What?!

[He took a step back, embarrassment clear on his face. There wasn't much that rattled Cliff, but the thought of one of the two women he cared the most about seeing him like this was jarring enough for him to lose his cool.]

Listen, man. That's too far.

[Cliff glowered at Albel in lieu of a reply. That man sometimes...]

Yeah, go get dressed. The sooner we get moving's the better.

[Because, Shifted or not, Cliff's desire to warm up was becoming rivaled by the desire to punch Albel something fierce.]

[Fayt nods, ducking into his room to change quickly into more suitable clothes for... well, going outside.

This is probably going to be the quickest outfit change ever, but it'll still be a few more moments of those two alone than Fayt really wanted to risk right now.]

Well good. Then, meet me at the shop in twenty minutes?

[So skeptical. And she has no desire to think about Cliff of all people bra-shopping alone...]

Don't get your panties in a twist, now. I thought the same when I had that unfortunate mishap myself. It's not as bad as you think.

[Which is the truth, but his tone is sly and mischievous. You know, because he's still a jerk.]

Twenty. Right.

[Cliff would be there without fail. Embarrassing as it was, Rei was definitely going to be more helpful than almost anyone else that he could think of.

It was still embarrassing.]

It's bad enough that people [re: Albel] aren't taking me seriously.

[A sharp look. Hopefully, Vegeta wasn't going to be the same.]

[Oh for the love of...]

Hurry up.

[He grumbled under his breath, tapping his foot in impatience.]

[Cliff searched around the apartment for something to throw over top in the meanwhile, taking note of the new layout of the place as he did so. His belongings were all there, to his relief, and his leather bomber jacket was perfect-- if somewhat too big.

He slipped it on and tossed Albel a look.]

I don't think the moody cat act is gonna do it for ya this time.

[Albel turned a glare toward him... her... it... whatever, not in the mood for dealing with anyone's attitude.]

[Just to exemplify the point, he pounded his fist against the wall, another reminder for Fayt to move his ass.]

Cool it! I'll be out in a second. [He was dressing as fast as possible, alright.

And true to his words, it isn't long before he steps out of his room, tugging a jacket on himself.]

[And in twenty, she's standing outside the shop, leaning against a rail.]

[Cliff just huddled in his jacket and darted his gaze between the two of them.]

...Is there anything you two need to tell me before we head out?

[Suspiciously. Albel seemed a little testier than normal.]
