[Lupin III doesn't know what's going on in the village...nor does he think he wants to know. Luceti is mad even on a good day, but this? It was well outside the scope of the New Feather cycle...but the crowd oddly reminded him of home. He went about his business that day like normal: drop by Seventh Heaven for breakfast, swing by the barracks to harrass Smoker, bum around the library (in the food and drink section, interestingly,) and drop by the space that used to be Cloud Nine.

He's friendly and in his element with the crowd. Just beware that he has a consealed weapon.

Cliff Fittir, still a New Feather himself, is interested in the entire affair-- but for reasons that he was going to keep to himself. There was still a possibiiity that he could run into some of his friends from home, and he planned to sieze every opportunity to either find them or find out some information. He wouldn't admit it openly, but he was concerned for their safety.

He'll be cooling his heels in various places around the village in a bomber jacket that he managed to find in his size, asking questions and offering directions as they come about. Evenings will find him in Good Spirits knocking back a few cold ones. Just be warned: he's liable to rant in annoyance at any mention of the cold, and he's quite a big man that isn't afraid to start (or end) a fight.]

[Well, at the library there is an elder woman dressing in her early 70's taking her time there reading the books while her giant rabbit is parked outside. If she's not there, then she's part of the crowd while riding her rabbit.]

[It was a lame opener and he knew it, but she seemed okay enough...]

[Yes, it was. She couldn't help but laugh. If anyone knew better, they'd run the hell away from them.]

[She'll just toss one to him as well. In the meantime, she got a medical book in her hand.]

[The rabbits were frightening for their size, but that wasn't important. He furrowed his brows at the woman, completely unsure about what to say.]

[Oh man, every time she did that, it made her grin. It works wondrous making people shut up. Okay, back to the rabbit.]

Just don't try petting him. A Lapahn's strength can shatter a good decent amount of bones on a person.

I'm not, but a few of my buddies are. [He scratched his ear in irritation.] What does that have to do with these rabbits?

...and, honestly? I'd compare your...beauty to that of a fine wine. There are some things that are better left secret.

[And just before Lupin can light up that cigarette the one in the icon that you didn't mention but is totally there okay it lights up on its own with a small flicker. And then a shirtless man gives a very slight bow.]

Excuse me, may I borrow some of your time to get directions?

[Lupin grinned and gratefully puffed on his cigarette.]

...Ace? You've been here longer than me-- something happen?

[Not that he's complaining. Cigarettes are a thing.]

[Blinks in surprise.] I just arrived today. You know me?

[Not that a lot of people didn't know of him, but this guy seemed at ease with the flame and certainly didn't fear him, which had to mean he knew Ace personally. Or at least the Whitebeard crew.]

[Though now that it was mentioned.....there was a specific lack of wings. Lupin blinked when he realized something that he hadn't considered before.]

[And then there is a very, very audible -click- as Zenigata drops from the ceiling like some sort of enormous spider, handcuffing Lupin to a nearby support column. In one hand, he's got a walkie talkie, the other half clearly inside the ramen bowl.
